This chowder was fantastic. Nothing at all like the chowders I'd been served as a child. Rich, sweet, filling. I'm sure this could be a wonderful place for a few slices of bacon, maybe some mushrooms, who knows? By itself it is wonderful, but it could be a great place to start tinkering, as well.
