- Melt butter and chocolate together. Cool.
- Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
- Beat eggs. Add sugar then chocolate mixture and blend. If you want them extra chewy add the 2 tablespoons corn syrup.
- Add flour, vanilla, and nuts. Mix well.
- Bake in greased 9x9 pan at 350º for 30 - 35 minutes.
- Cool and cut into squares.
