Chocolate Caramels

Ingredients

tablespoons
butter
1/2
cup
milk
1/2
cup
sugar
2
teaspoons
vanilla
1
cup
molasses
4 squares
chocolate
1
cup
nuts
Directions
Heat
butter
in saucepan.
When melted add
milk
,
sugar
, and
molasses
.
When boiling point is reached add
chocolate
.
Cook until brittle when tried in cold
water
, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and beat for 3 minutes.
Add
nuts
and
vanilla
.
Turn into a buttered 9x9 pan.
When cold, cut into squares and wrap in saran wrap.
